The Safran lab

Jerzy Kaufmann, M.A.

Ph.D. Student

Jerzy is a first-year PhD student at the New School. He is a Facilitative Interpersonal Skills (FIS) task reliable coder, and member of the Rupture Resolution Rating System (3RS) coding group at the Brief Psychotherapy Research Program. His research interests lie in the identification of therapeutic alliance rupture and repair processes in psychotherapy, and his prior work has looked into the use of rupture-resolution strategies in responses to the FIS task.
